Location: Taipei, Taiwan | Hybrid
We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller for a leading electronics company with international presence across 20+ countries. This global role will report to group CFO, responsible for the group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. best-in-class management reporting systems, and support senior leadership team (c-suites) on strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Collaboration
*Lead, mentor, and develop Group Controlling teams located across the US, China, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
*Work closely with BG/BU Controlling teams to ensure financial planning and analysis are aligned and consistent across geographies and product lines.
2. Strategic Financial Management
*Oversee group-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support corporate and BG/BU-level business decisions.
*Integrate cost analysis, capex planning, and manufacturing capacity planning into financial reviews and strategic discussions.
3. Performance & Value Creation
*Continuously identify and drive performance improvement opportunities through financial insights, with a strong focus on manufacturing efficiency, cost optimization, and supply chain dynamics.
*Partner with operations and supply chain leaders to assess investment returns and optimize resource allocation.
4. Management Reporting & Systems Development
*Design and implement robust management reporting systems, leveraging SAP/BI and other platforms.
*Co-develop dashboards and business decision support tools with BG/BU finance and IT teams, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and usability.
*Champion automation and digitalization of financial processes to enhance insight and reduce cycle times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 12–15 years of finance, accounting, industrial engineering or operation management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior controlling or FP&A leadership role in a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Strong exposure to the global electronics supply chain and proven hands-on experience in cost management, capex planning, and capacity planning.
- Track record of implementing management reporting systems and working with SAP, BI tools, and dashboard solutions.
- Proven ability to lead cross-cultural, geographically dispersed teams and work in a matrix organization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strong business partnership mindset.
- Full-working Proficiency in English
