Sr. SW Engineer, PC Driver

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our PC software integration and deployment team in Taiwan. This role focuses on integrating device drivers, firmware, and tools with third-party software and customer-specific requirements. You will support customer platforms, deliver updates, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate closely with global development teams to bring advanced PC audio technologies into production.

Responsibilities

• Customize Windows/Linux device drivers and related tools for customer platforms

• Integrate or develop APO (Audio Processing Object) or DSP offload features

• Deliver new features, updates, and bug fixes to customers

• Triage, reproduce, and debug customer-reported issues

• Support customer driver integration and review schematics from a software perspective

• Set up new devices and reference platforms

• Collaborate with field applications, design, firmware, QA, and tooling teams

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in EE, CE, CS, Mathematics, or related field

• 3+ years of experience deploying audio/embedded device drivers on Intel, AMD, or ARM platforms
  or 3+ years of experience in audio application development (APO, DSP algorithms)

• Strong communication skills across global teams and with external customers

• Experience with kernel development, driver integration, PC bring-up, and ACPI

• Understanding of OS-level challenges (race conditions, synchronization, interrupts, etc.)

• Familiarity with I2C, SPI, I2S, HDA, SoundWire, and other serial protocols

• Strong troubleshooting skills using software tools, hardware instruments, schematics, and datasheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PC architectures and chipsets

• Development board or customer platform bring-up experience

• Customer enablement or field support background
