We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven European Product Manager for a leading pharmaceutical company to lead the development, positioning, and growth of a key product within the EU. This role will play a central part in defining the European marketing strategy and will work closely with cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners to ensure excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee the European marketing strategy for the assigned product.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and epidemiological trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Define positioning, key messages, and value propositions tailored to different European countries.
- Develop launch, relaunch, and product life cycle management plans.
- Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and clinical evidence.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), scientific associations, and hospital networks.
- Conduct sales forecasting, customer segmentation, and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Marketing, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, ideally within hospital-use pharmaceuticals.
- Previous experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role at a regional or European level.
- Willingness to travel.
- C1 level of English required.
- Prior experience in commercial roles is highly valued.
- Strong ability to lead without formal authority and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both clinical and commercial settings.
- Analytical mindset, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple complex markets.
