Job Description
My client is a FinTech / Online Brokerage (FX & CFDs) company. They are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to champion their expansion into the Japanese market. In this role, you will be the driving force behind identifying potential agencies, scaling their Introducing Broker (IB) network, and promoting their cutting-edge online FX/CFD trading platform to Japanese clients.
Key Responsibilities

IB & Partner Sourcing: Proactively identify, evaluate, and onboard potential introducing brokers (IBs), financial affiliates, and corporate partners targeting the Japanese market.

Market Expansion Strategy: Research, map out, and execute comprehensive business development initiatives to accelerate platform user acquisition and growth in Japan.

Product Promotion: Strategically pitch and market the company’s competitive advantages to prospective retail and institutional clients.

Account Management: Drive new client acquisition while providing high-touch support and relationship management to existing key partners and accounts.

Internal Briefings: Conduct internal sales presentations, corporate meetings, and align cross-departmentally with marketing, compliance, and product teams.

Business Travel: Undertake occasional travel to Japan to conduct face-to-face partner meetings, finalize contracts, and attend industry networking events.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in financial services (Banking, Securities, FX/CFDs, or FinTech) is required. Candidates with B2B sales experience working with Japanese clients will also be considered.
Language Skills: Professional fluency (JLPT N1 equivalent) or native-level Japanese is mandatory to negotiate with Japanese partners; business-level proficiency in English is required for internal global collaboration.
