Business Development Manager – International Education | Mexico / LATAM 📍
A global EdTech platform focused on connecting international students, recruitment partners, and higher education institutions is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive partner growth and enrollment performance across LATAM. This role is key to managing and expanding a portfolio of recruitment partners (educational agents), focusing on increasing engagement, improving conversion, and driving enrollment growth through strategic relationship management and data-driven decision-making.
The position combines account management, business development, and international education, working closely with partners to optimize performance and expand market reach.
Who are you?
- Professional with 4+ years of experience in account management, business development, or partner management.
- Ideally with experience in international education, student recruitment, or working with educational agents.
- Strong background in B2B relationship management, managing and growing strategic accounts.
- Experience driving performance through data analysis, KPIs, and conversion metrics.
- Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and engage stakeholders across different markets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot or similar).
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
What will you do?
- Manage and grow a portfolio of recruitment partners (educational agents).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as their main point of contact.
- Develop strategies to increase partner engagement, performance, and wallet share.
- Drive enrollment growth by improving the quality and volume of student applications.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with partners using data and insights.
- Train and guide partners on processes, programs, and best practices.
- Negotiate and align expectations with partners to maximize results.
- Use CRM and digital tools to track performance, manage pipeline, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to support partner needs and resolve challenges.
- Execute data-driven recruitment and marketing strategies based on market insights.
- Represent the organization in meetings, events, and partner interactions across LATAM.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in account management, business development, or partner management roles.
- Experience working in B2B environments with external partners or clients.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and complex relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and digital engagement platforms.
- Advanced English (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel across LATAM as required.
