Demand, risk and industrial Reponse

At Morgan Philips Outsourcing we are partnering with our client Thales Alenia Space, a European leader in space systems and satellite solutions, we are looking for a Demand, Risk & Industrial Response to join our Operational Forecast Management & Sales Operations team.

This role offers strong strategic impact, a true end-to-end business perspective, and high visibility across the organization, playing a key role in mid- and long-term decision‑making.

Your mission

You will be a key contributor to the company’s strategic planning, working from the commercial scenario to anticipate demand, assess risks, and ensure the alignment of industrial capacity (people, resources, components, and production means).

Your role will be strongly focused on:

• Strategic planning over a 6‑month to 3‑year horizon
• Data analysis and process automation
• Driving value creation for the business and Management

Main responsibilities

• Build, review, and update mid- and long-term demand forecasts based on the commercial pipeline.
• Analyze and “demodulate” scenarios to ensure the balance between demand and industrial capacity.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare high‑impact reports for Top Management.
• Identify planning risks and propose industrial response and mitigation plans.
• Work transversally with Project Managers, industrial teams, sales, and international stakeholders in a non‑presential and multicultural environment.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement in planning and reporting activities.
• Ensure a true end-to-end business vision, aligned with the satellite market outlook for the next 3–5 years.

What we are looking for

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, operations, supply chain, or related analytical roles.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, or project environments is highly valued.

Education

• Engineering background preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in the space sector is a plus, but not required.

Data & Tools

• Strong interest in data handling and analysis.
• Experience or working knowledge of:
  • ERP systems (Oracle / Primavera)
  • Power BI
  • Advanced Excel (macros)
  • MS Project
  • Access or Databases
• Strong mindset towards process automation and value creation.

Languages

• Fluent English is a MUST (daily working language).
• French and Italian are highly valued.
