Key Responsibilities
-
Process Optimization: Establish and optimize process conditions and technologies to enhance capability and reduce cost.

Process Management & Innovation: Drive process management projects and introduce new technologies and Best Known Methods (BKM).

Equipment Evaluation: Evaluate and introduce new equipment and functionality through demonstration, head-to-head (H2H), and TOR evaluation processes.

Detection Strategies: Continuously lead detection strategies (IV/IC), systems, and methods to enhance detection performance.

Yield & Learning Acceleration: Strengthen detection capability to support yield improvement, accelerate learning cycles, and reinforce defense lines.

BKM Standardization: Establish and share BKMs related to RAM detection performance, cost, and supplier engagement across sites.

Task Force Leadership: Lead problem-solving analysis and corrective actions in top-level task forces to ensure rapid recovery for issues and root cause resolution.

Global Alignment: Collaborate with global peers (HVM/TD) to align strategies and technology roadmaps.

Resource & Project Management: Manage cross-functional resources to close technical gaps and drive project execution.

Community Engagement: Actively participate and share in the technical community (KEG) to drive new technology and cross-site alignment.

Specification Improvement: Influence DOC2 and TOR specifications to incorporate high-volume manufacturing (HVM) pain points for continuous improvement.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the team and cross-functional partners while actively sharing knowledge and mentoring members to support their growth.

Culture & Innovation: Influence key decisions within the department and foster a culture of innovation and patent generation.

Business Process Management: Establish and optimize business processes to meet program expectations and standards.

Fab Performance Tracking: Track and analyze Fab performance metrics for benchmarking and continuous improvement.

Supplier Competitiveness: Collaborate with TD and Global Procurement to drive supplier competitiveness and cost optimization.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with over 10 years of relevant working experience in Metrology.

Problem-Solving & Complexity: Proven capability in dealing with complexity and utilizing resources effectively to bring clarity to required actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups, both within and outside the department.

Global Communication: Strong English communication skills with the ability to lead and coordinate global teams across cultures and time zones (prior experience working with or at multiple sites is ideal).

Stakeholder Relations: Excellent communication skills, maintaining strong and open relationships with peer groups and partners in Process Integration Engineering, Quality Systems, Production Operations Management, and Purchasing.
