MAKING SUCCESS STORIES HAPPEN

Role Overview Seeking an experienced Hardware Systems Lead to drive end-to-end hardware development for next-generation embedded computing products. In this high-visibility leadership role, you will oversee architecture, hands-on board design, lab validation, and transition products into mass production while managing a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Execution: Drive complete product lifecycles from initial concept and hardware specifications through volume manufacturing.

  • System Architecture & Board Design: Lead embedded computing system designs, schematic captures using Cadence OrCAD, and collaborate closely with Layout (Allegro), Mechanical, and Signal Integrity (SI) engineers.

  • Team Management: Direct, mentor, and scale an internal team of senior hardware engineers and external contractors.

  • Validation & Debug: Lead hands-on board bring-up, test plan creation, engineering validation (EVT/DVT), and root-cause debugging for complex system issues.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software, mechanical, firmware, and operations teams to establish scalable, quality-driven manufacturing processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 15+ years of hands-on hardware design and system engineering experience, including technical leadership or team management.

  • EDA Tooling: Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD (Schematic) and familiarity with Allegro (PCB Layout).

  • Interface Expertise:

    • Low-Speed / Basic: I2C, SMBus, SPI, UART, USB.

    • High-Speed: PCIe, Display interfaces (e.g., HDMI/DP), and Ethernet/Network interfaces.

  • Processor Architecture: Deep working knowledge of CPU/SoC architectures and associated subsystems.

  • Hands-on Lab Skills: Proven track record in board bring-up, signal measurement, design validation, and complex hardware troubleshooting.

  • Communication: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Linux environments.

  • Scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, or similar) for lab test automation.
