MAKING SUCCESS STORIES HAPPEN

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced semiconductor technology leader to drive new technology introductions (NTI), process transfers, and manufacturing ramp-up activities across advanced foundry environments. This role is responsible for leading the successful qualification, release, and scale-up of leading-edge semiconductor products while serving as the key interface between foundry partners, technology development teams, business stakeholders, and customers.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in front-end process integration with strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills to accelerate product commercialization and manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Introduction & Manufacturing Ramp-up

  • Lead the qualification, release, and production ramp-up of new semiconductor products under New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs.
  • Own front-end process safe launch activities and ensure smooth transition from development into high-volume manufacturing.
  • Drive manufacturability improvements, process optimization, and yield enhancement during ramp-up phases.

Foundry & Supply Chain Collaboration

  • Partner closely with foundry engineering teams, technology organizations, business units, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful process qualification and execution.
  • Manage process transfer initiatives across foundries, manufacturing sites, and strategic joint venture partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with foundry partners to maximize operational effectiveness, technical support, and business outcomes.

Project Leadership

  • Lead complex technology transfer and production ramp projects from planning through execution and release.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule while meeting quality, cost, and performance objectives.
  • Drive issue resolution and decision-making across technical, operational, and commercial areas.

Technical Leadership & Decision Making

  • Serve as the primary decision-maker on process integration-related matters.
  • Balance technical requirements, resource allocation, project timelines, logistics, supplier management, and business priorities to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Provide technical direction on process integration, yield improvement, and manufacturing readiness initiatives.

Customer Engagement

  • Act as a key technical interface for strategic customers on critical projects and manufacturing-related escalations.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

  • 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience with a strong focus on front-end process integration.
  • Proven experience working within foundry manufacturing, process development, or technology transfer environments.
  • Track record of leading development programs, process transfer projects, or manufacturing ramp-up initiatives.

Technical Expertise

  • Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and IC fabrication processes.
  • Strong knowledge of process integration methodologies and advanced semiconductor technologies.
  • Experience with FinFET technologies and Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in yield improvement and data-driven process optimization.

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong project leadership capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to drive alignment across technical and business organizations.

Additional Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused working style.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with external foundry partners and leveraging supplier relationships to achieve business objectives.
