Tech Lead - Azure & Application Architecture (F/M)

Our client is looking for a vision-driven Tech Lead to play a central and transversal role across its internal applications ecosystem.
This role goes beyond traditional project supervision. The company is seeking a strong technological leader capable of bringing strategic vision, challenging existing approaches constructively, and identifying modern technologies and practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining high quality standards.
Working closely with the Head of IT & Project Management, the Tech Lead will help define and implement the company’s software development strategy. The focus is on building secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions within an established Azure-based cloud environment.
Innovation is encouraged, but always within the existing architectural and security framework. The objective is to integrate new technologies pragmatically into the current cloud ecosystem, ensuring alignment with infrastructure principles and development standards.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Technological Leadership & Vision

• Act as a technological reference and thought leader across the IT department.
• Continuously monitor emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Proactively propose improvements to increase speed, efficiency, scalability, and quality.
• Challenge the team (developers, architects, management) with constructive technical perspectives.
• Identify opportunities to modernize our stack while ensuring full alignment with our Azure strategy.

2. Architecture & Technical Consistency

• Ensure architectural coherence across all internal applications.
• Guarantee that all innovations integrate seamlessly within:
• Azure cloud environment
• Security standards
• Infrastructure constraints
• Internal development guidelines
• Lead API lifecycle management and enforce security best practices.
• Oversee and optimize Azure API Management usage.
• Promote scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures (including serverless when relevant).

3. Technical Leadership & Governance

• Supervise and coach external developers.
• Challenge estimations.
• Raise engineering standards across the team.
• Enforce best practices in .NET, Azure, and DevOps.
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Ensure code quality, review processes, and architectural consistency.

4. DevOps & Delivery Acceleration

• Promote a strong DevOps culture for deployment using Azure DevOps.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify tooling and automation opportunities to increase delivery speed without compromising quality.

5. Support & Reliability

• Provide Level 3 support in coordination with the IT support team.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Ensure stability, performance, and operational excellence of internal systems.

• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Azure (including serverless architecture) and .NET development.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Strong understanding of Azure native architecture principles.
• Experience with database technologies (CosmosDB, MySQL, MS SQL, Azure Storage).
• Proven ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies pragmatically.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to challenge stakeholders constructively.
• Strong documentation mindset.
• Experience with Java, NodeJS, React, or other technologies is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French is a strong plus.
