Assistant Accountant - Prestigious Retail Brand

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies in a timely manner

• Handle accounts payable functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor account maintenance

• Prepare and post general ledger journals, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions

• Process and issue invoices, monitor payment status, and assist with month-end closing activities

• Support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and other ad hoc duties assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines

• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or commercial environments

• Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, invoicing, and general ledger functions

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems

• Detail-minded, responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered
