Key responsibilities
- Monitor and steer key performance indicators across a core business portfolio.
- Analyse financial performance versus plan, initiating ad‑hoc analyses and deep dives on deviations.
- Collaborate with business owners to identify root causes and support remediation or optimization actions.
- Translate complex financial and accounting outcomes into business-relevant insights.
- Operate comfortably across multiple accounting and reporting frameworks, explaining differences and impacts.
- Contribute to annual planning and strategic dialogue processes, challenging assumptions and supporting alignment.
- Produce clear analyses and presentations for senior management and governance forums.
- Leverage data analytics and dashboarding tools to enhance performance monitoring and insights.
- Master’s degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in controlling, actuarial, risk, or performance management roles.
- Strong experience analysing profit and balance sheet dynamics under advanced accounting frameworks.
- Comfortable explaining technical financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and data-handling skills; experience with BI and analytical tools is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across functions.
- Fluent professional English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Motivated, self-starting team player with the ambition to grow in a complex, international environment.
