Conducting Officer Compliance PE F/M

A growing Luxembourg-based AIFM specialized in Private Equity investments is looking to appoint an experienced Conducting Officer F/M – Compliance & Risk Management.

This is a senior, hands-on role within a lean and entrepreneurial AIFM environment, with direct exposure to transactions, management and the continued development of the platform.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Act as Conducting Officer responsible for Compliance and Risk Management.
• Oversee and strengthen the Compliance, AML/CFT and Risk frameworks of the AIFM and its Private Equity funds.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with Luxembourg and AIFMD requirements.
• Oversee AML/KYC, risk assessments, regulatory reporting and delegate supervision.
• Support Private Equity transactions, new fund launches and investment-related matters.
• Work closely with management, investment teams, the Board, auditors and the CSSF.
• Identify control gaps and drive pragmatic remediation actions.
• Contribute to the continued structuring and institutionalization of the AIFM platform.

• Strong and direct Private Equity experience is essential.
• Mandatory experience within a Luxembourg-based AIFM (or Italy)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including significant senior-level responsibilities in Compliance and/or Risk.
• Proven experience at Conducting Officer, Head of Compliance, Compliance Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory requirements applicable to Private Equity AIFMs.
• Direct exposure to the CSSF, Boards and external auditors.
• Previous Conducting Officer approval would be a strong advantage.
• Hard-working, highly committed, hands-on and performance-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and a transactional mindset.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and willing to remain involved until urgent matters are fully resolved.
• Able to operate effectively within an Italian-influenced business culture.
• Excellent English; Italian is a strong advantage.
