Sr. Cost Accountant

About the role:
We are looking for a senior finance professional to support plant-side cost management and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on product costing, inventory control, and providing insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle product costing, including materials, labor, and overhead allocation
• Maintain standard costing and perform variance analysis to understand cost movements
• Work closely with supply chain / operations on inventory tracking and stock accuracy
• Conduct inventory analysis (e.g., slow-moving / obsolete items, margin review)
• Analyze manufacturing cost drivers and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Around 8+ years of finance experience, with solid exposure in cost accounting
• Background in manufacturing / plant environment is required
• Familiar with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management
• Hands-on, comfortable working closely with operations teams
• Good Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP / Oracle)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Self-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
