About the Company
The company is a leader in In Vitro Diagnostics, committed to delivering precision and speed to clinical laboratories. We are seeking a dynamic (Associate) Business Manager to bridge the gap between commercial growth and scientific education within the primary hospital segment.
Position Summary
This is a hybrid role designed for a scientifically-minded commercial professional. You will wear two hats:

Sales/Business Development: Drive market share growth by acquiring and managing primary hospitals and clinics.

Marketing (Education): Elevate brand authority by orchestrating industry conferences, scientific seminars, and internal/external educational events.
We are looking for someone with a science background (e.g., Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Biotechnology) who can converse fluently with lab directors and procurement teams while also managing high-level KOL events.
Key Responsibilities
A. Business Development & Sales (Primary Hospital Focus)

Territory Management: Develop and execute a sales plan targeting primary/secondary hospitals to penetrate the IVD market.

Full Cycle Sales: Identify leads, conduct product demonstrations, negotiate pricing, and close contracts with hospital lab directors and procurement committees.

Installation & Retention: Collaborate with applications specialists to ensure smooth instrument/assay launches; upsell reagent rentals and maintenance contracts.
B. Marketing, Education & Events (Scientific Focus)

Event Strategy: Plan and execute scientific education events.

Content Development: Create scientific collateral (case studies, application notes, white papers) using your science background to ensure clinical accuracy.

Internal Training: Train the broader sales team on new IVD technologies, competitor assay comparisons, and regulatory updates.
C. Stakeholder Management

External: Build relationships with Pathologists, Clinical Lab Scientists, Infection Control Committees, and Hospital Administration.

Internal: Act as the bridge between the commercial team and R&D/Regulatory teams to translate clinical needs into product feedback.
Qualifications
Required (Must-Haves)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Nursing.

Experience: 3–6 years in the IVD industry (sales, product management, or clinical applications).

Hybrid Skillset: Proven ability to sell IVD analyzers/reagents and organize scientific events (e.g., user group meetings, trade booths).

Hunter Mentality: Track record of hanlding primary hospital accounts

Communication: Ability to explain assay sensitivity/specificity to lab heads and negotiate ROI to hospital CFOs.
