Business Development Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Development Manager to lead our new product development initiatives in a dynamic pharmaceutical and consumable healthcare environment. The successful candidate will focus on creating innovative formulations and proposing new product pipelines, oversee busienss development and sales strategy, with an emphasis on collaboration with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and logal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• New Product Development:

  • Drive the development of innovative prescription medicine and OTC products from concept to commercialization.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities.
  • Prepare and present product development proposals to stakeholders.

• Formulation Development:

  • Oversee formulation development processes for new drug products, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product formulations and manufacturing processes.

• OEM Collaboration:

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with OEM partners to facilitate co-development and production of pharmaceutical products.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with OEMs to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

• Project Management:

  • Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery against project milestones.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to meet business objectives.

• Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all products are developed in compliance with industry regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for regulatory approvals.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure product alignment with company strategy.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in product development within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record in new product formulation and development.
  • Experience in OEM collaboration is highly desirable.

• Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and product development processes.
