Job Title: HR Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join a leading organization in the services sector. This role is essential for driving human resources initiatives, developing talent strategies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and a comprehensive understanding of labor laws and HR best practices in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Planning:
    Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.

  • Talent Acquisition:
    Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to ensure the organization attracts top talent.

  • Employee Relations:
    Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

  • Performance Management:
    Implement performance management systems that facilitate employee development, feedback, and goal setting.

  • Training and Development:
    Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring continuous professional growth.

  • Compliance and HR Policies:
    Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, developing and updating HR policies and procedures as necessary.

  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
    Analyze HR metrics to assess employee engagement, turnover, and other key performance indicators, preparing reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant HR certification is preferred.

  • Experience:
    5+ years of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record in a managerial role within a multinational organization.

  • Knowledge of Labor Laws:
    Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Leadership Skills:
    Proven ability to lead HR teams and drive initiatives that enhance organizational performance and employee satisfaction.
