Operation Resilience Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Resilience

• Support governance, development, implementation, and management of the operational resilience framework in line with regulatory requirements

• Respond to local regulator requirements and report progress to internal committees

• Monitor emerging regulations, trends, and threats in operational resilience and business continuity

• Create and maintain documentation and reporting

• Identify and map important business services and dependencies (technology, people, facilities, third-party providers)

• Lead scenario testing to validate recovery capabilities under extreme but plausible scenarios

• Monitor, assess, and report on critical operations resilience; propose enhancements as needed

• Collaborate with local stakeholders, regional and HO RMC teams

Projects Management

• Lead or coordinate a project

• Business analysis, process review and proposal for enhancement

• Formalization of new procedure / workflow charts / gap analysis

• Manage the project governance and present the project progress

• Assist on UAT and deployment

• Other Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Organization Manager, COO or APAC Head of RMA

Legal and Regulatory

• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Hong Kong Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete any mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.

• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

• Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and properness to perform the role.

• Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.

• Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.

Candidate Requirement

• Proven experience in operational resilience, business continuity, or related fields within a financial institution.

▪ Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and frameworks

▪ Familiarity with risk management methodologies and tools.

▪ Demonstrated ability to develop and manage resilience and continuity frameworks.

▪ Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including the ability to influence senior executives.

▪ Experience leading incident response, crisis management, and scenario testing.

▪ Experience with third-party risk management in financial services.
