Your Responsibilities:
As a Regional Technical Service Manager SEA, you will provide exceptional technical support across the Southeast Asia (SEA) markets, specifically within the food industry. You will collaborate closely with sales teams and customers, leveraging your advanced technical expertise and application knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating technical service support across the SEA region. Offering technical consultation and troubleshooting assistance to customers.
- Conducting thorough equipment and plant inspections, alongside lubrication assessments.
- Preparing comprehensive technical reports and providing product recommendations.
- Building and nurturing long-term customer relationships through proactive technical engagement.
- Supporting customers with technical recommendations and approvals, while ensuring alignment with regional/global product improvement initiatives.
- Participating in technical events, exhibitions, and industry seminars to bolster the company’s presence.
- Developing technical insights on market trends and customer needs, contributing to non-commercial discussions.
- Providing training and technical workshops for customers and sales personnel to enhance their understanding and engagement with our services.
- Maximizing opportunities related to OEM operations and driving engagement with existing and potential customers.
- Undertaking special projects and assignments as directed by business leadership.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who embodies a strong technical and analytical mindset.
The ideal candidate will have:
An engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) and a minimum of 8 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, or application engineering, ideally within the lubrication or specialty lubricants industry. Hands-on expertise in lubrication systems, tribology, or industrial maintenance practices, with proven experience in troubleshooting industrial applications.
- A strong customer-oriented approach, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into practical, actionable solutions.
- Excellent collaborative skills to work effectively with sales and cross-functional teams, alongside structured and solution-driven thinking.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
- A willingness to travel frequently across the region, and if necessary, internationally.
