We’re seeking an R&D Head/Associate Vice President, Power Supply, for a large electronics design & manufacturing company. Reporting to the CEO, this role will form new teams, lead multiple/all engineering functions to develop the power supply products, enhancing the company’s R&D capability and product portfolios.

Responsibilities:
- Define new products/technology roadmap and create product portfolios that align with the company’s future growth strategies; enhance and establish power product pipelines for markets and applications in various technology sectors.
- Build strong network and global research and development resources, leverage external outsourcing R&D resources, to develop and launch products.
- Choose right technology and develop process to fulfill the company’s worldwide manufacturing needs for current to next 3-5 years.
- Hire and develop technical talents to grow R&D organization to the next level. Coach and retain the teams to deliver product development and technology development needs.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of R&D/Engineering experience in the fields of Power Supply, with a progressive managerial responsibility of managing multi-disciplined R&D teams.
- Track records of successfully developing a new product/technology into mass production. Ability to tell a good innovation story to market/clients and investors.
- 7+ years in managerial position. Demonstrated leadership with skills in strategic planning, goal setting, processes development, budgeting, and creating opportunities for professional development within the organization.
- Willing to take challenges and learn new skills, concepts, and technologies. Ability to deal with ambiguities and grow in a dynamic business environment.
- Ph.D./Master’s degree in engineering related studies. Strong network with research & development organizations in Taiwan.
