Reporting Line: Senior Executive / General Manager
Position Summary
The Business Head is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategy, growth, and performance of a designated business unit. This position carries full accountability for business planning, P&L management, market expansion, and cross-functional execution. The role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage and develop a team of more than 20 professionals while driving sustainable business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Strategy Leadership

Define and execute the long-term strategy, business roadmap, and growth plans for the assigned line of business.

Translate corporate objectives into actionable business initiatives and measurable outcomes.

Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to maintain strong market positioning.
P&L and Performance Management

Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and cost control.

Establish business KPIs and ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and operational targets.

Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and overall business performance.
Market Development & Customer Engagement

Identify new market opportunities and lead initiatives for market penetration and expansion.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.

Support major customer negotiations, solution positioning, and long-term account strategies.
People & Organization Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional organization of 20+ team members.

Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and talent development.

Ensure organizational structure and capabilities align with current and future business needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Drive effective communication and decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Experience:
-
10+ years of progressive experience in business unit leadership, product line management, or general management roles.

Proven track record in managing sizable teams and delivering business growth.

Leadership & Business Skills:

Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability.

Solid P&L management experience and commercial acumen.

Ability to lead complex organizations and influence senior stakeholders.

Communication & Language:

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
