Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and executing AI, Data, and Digital Initiatives that enhance automation, data-driven decision making, supply chain visibility, and overall operational excellence.
- Partner with business units, engineering, and manufacturing leaders to modernize systems and processes, enabling the company to remain at the forefront of the semiconductor industry.
- Define and implement the company’s digital transformation roadmap, aligned with corporate strategy and semiconductor industry best practices.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to accelerate adoption of smart manufacturing and digital business models. Champion cultural change toward a more data-driven, agile, and innovation-oriented organization.
- Lead initiatives in advanced analytics, AI/ML, automation, IoT, digital twins, and cloud-based solutions to improve manufacturing yield, cycle time, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee modernization of ERP, MES, PLM, and supply chain systems to enable real-time visibility and scalability.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital tools across design, fabrication, assembly, test, and logistics.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering leaders to deploy smart factory solutions and predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Implement cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance frameworks to safeguard digital infrastructure.
- Build and lead a high-performing digital transformation team with expertise in IT, data science, and semiconductor operations.
- Mentor and upskill employees across functions to embrace digital tools and workflows. Engage with external technology partners, startups, and academic institutions to bring in innovative solutions.
Qualifications/Desired Profile:
- 15+ combined years of progressive leadership in corporate IT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data ,and Digital Transformation in the Semiconductor or High-Tech Manufacturing sectors. Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
- Deep expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies: AI Platform Engineering, Machine Learning, (Hybrid) Cloud, and Modern Data Platforms.
- Experience of managing a team of 30+ AI/Data/IT engineers.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (wafer fab, assembly/test, yield improvement, supply chain).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Global experience and cross-cultural management skills are highly desirable.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
- Change agent who can balance long-term vision with near-term wins.
- Strong collaboration skills to bridge IT, engineering, manufacturing, and business units.
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, competitive industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
