Sales Manager / Director (Semiconductor Materials)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales professional to drive business growth in the semiconductor materials sector. This role will focus on developing strategic customer relationships across leading foundries and memory manufacturers, delivering value-based solutions, and expanding market share in advanced semiconductor manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of semiconductor processes with proven chemical/materials sales experience and the ability to engage global customers in English.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across semiconductor foundries and IDMs.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers (e.g., TSMC, UMC, Micron, and other global fabs).

Identify new business opportunities and expand product penetration within existing accounts.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and global teams to deliver customized material solutions.

Provide technical and commercial consultation to customers on materials, processes, and applications.

Drive account planning, forecasting, and pipeline development aligned with annual targets.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging semiconductor technologies.

Support product introduction, qualification, and design-in activities at customer sites.

Represent the company in industry events, technical discussions, and executive engagements.
Requirements
Experience

8–15+ years of B2B sales experience in:

Semiconductor materials / chemicals
-
Specialty chemicals
-
Semiconductor consumables or components
-

Proven track record engaging leading semiconductor manufacturers.

Hands-on experience managing foundry or memory accounts such as:

TSMC
-
UMC
-
Micron
-
Other advanced-node fabs preferred.

Technical Background
-
Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.

Experience supporting advanced manufacturing environments (300mm fabs preferred).

Familiarity with semiconductor materials such as:

Specialty chemicals
-
Process consumables
-
Advanced materials (quartz, ceramic, silicon-related materials preferred but not mandatory).

Strong consultative sales and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to engage both technical and executive-level audiences.

Cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
Language

Fluent English is required (global customer interaction).
