Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth in the chemical and advanced materials sector. This role focuses on developing key accounts, expanding market presence, and managing strategic customer relationships across industrial applications. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with solid technical understanding and fluent English communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and margin targets across assigned chemical and material product lines.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries such as electronics, automotive, industrial manufacturing, and consumer applications.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, customer qualification, solution proposal, price negotiation, and contract closure.

  • Build long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.

  • Provide technical-commercial support, including product positioning, application discussions, and customer presentations.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and raw material pricing to support strategic planning and pricing decisions.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (product management, supply chain, technical support) to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Support or mentor junior sales members as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 5–8 years of sales or business development experience in chemical materials, polymers, or related B2B industries.

  • Strong understanding of thermoplastic elastomers, engineering plastics, or specialty chemical materials is highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing medium-to-long sales cycles.

  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written), capable of handling international suppliers and customers.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international business environment.
