Our client, a dynamic player in the pharmaceutical sector, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team.
Responsibilities :

- Prepare and review accounting transactions in compliance with BEGAAP
- Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (e.g., balance sheet, P&L)
- Support audits and ensure accurate tax/regulatory reporting (e.g., VAT, Intrastat)
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and ERP system improvements
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial data
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–10 years’ experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles
- Proficient in Excel; experience with financial consolidation is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills;
- Fluent in English, with French and/or Dutch a plus
