We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Specialist or Key Account Manager to drive the growth and commercialization of our key products in the private healthcare sector. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize market share, revenue, and brand presence within private hospitals, clinics, and affiliated networks. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape, and proven ability to engage with key stakeholders in the private sector and HA.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement annual brand plans for assigned products in the private sector.

  • Achieve sales, market share, and growth targets through effective territory and account management.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the private healthcare segment.

  • Collaborate with marketing, medical, and market access teams to ensure aligned commercial and clinical strategies.

2. Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, pharmacists, and procurement teams in private hospitals and clinics.

  • Drive product adoption through clinical presentations, evidence-based discussions, and tailored value propositions.

  • Negotiate contracts, tenders, and formulary listings with private healthcare institutions.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and digital tools tailored to the private sector.

  • Partner with Medical Affairs to organize scientific events, advisory boards, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Distribution teams to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, market access progress, and strategic initiatives to senior management.

  • Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, sales data, and business opportunities.

5. Compliance & Ethics

  • Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Promote a culture of integrity and compliance within the team and among external partners.


Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) or professional certification is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or product management, with a focus therapeutic areas.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market growth for specialty or primary care products.

  • Experience in key account management, tender negotiations, and formulary placements within private hospitals/clinics.

  • Strong network and relationships with KOLs and decision-makers in the private medical community.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and data analysis tools.

  • Fluency in Chinese and English.
