We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead a growing life sciences organization serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare clients across the product development lifecycle. The General Manager will be responsible for overall business performance, strategic planning, operational excellence, client engagement, and team leadership. This individual will play a critical role in expanding market presence, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of scientific and consulting services.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain trusted executive-level relationships with senior leaders across multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations.
  • Leverage industry networks and market expertise to identify, cultivate, and convert new business opportunities into long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Serve as a credible advisor to clients by understanding their drug development, clinical research, regulatory, and commercial priorities.
  • Lead strategic account development activities to expand existing client engagements and generate sustainable revenue growth.
  • Establish strong partnerships with global and regional decision-makers, including R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Biometrics, and Commercial leadership teams.
  • Drive business development initiatives through proactive client engagement, industry networking, thought leadership, and consultative selling approaches.
  • Build and strengthen the organization's reputation within the life sciences industry, resulting in increased market visibility and client acquisition.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree preferred (PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, MS, or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Statistics, Biostatistics, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, healthcare consulting, or related industries.
  • Experience managing business units, scientific organizations, or professional services teams.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive relationships and securing business opportunities with multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
