Head of Accounting-MNC

Lead the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting function for the Taiwan entity, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, group accounting policies, and internal control standards.

Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and statutory accounting activities.

Drive the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for regional and global headquarters.

Manage the statutory audit process and act as the key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant authorities.

Ensure effective tax compliance and coordinate with internal and external tax advisors on tax-related matters.

Strengthen and maintain a robust internal control environment in accordance with corporate policies and group governance requirements.

Partner closely with FP&A, Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, and business functions to provide accounting expertise and support business initiatives.

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting efficiency, and drive finance transformation and automation.

Lead and develop the accounting team, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development.

Act as a key finance representative for Taiwan and collaborate with regional/global finance teams on cross-border projects and initiatives.

Support ad hoc financial analysis, system implementation, process improvement, and other strategic projects as required.
