Junior Fund Controller F/M - Asset Management Firm

We are currently supporting a renowned and fast-growing asset management firm in the recruitment of a Junior Fund Controller to join its dynamic Luxembourg office.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional looking to develop strong expertise within fund control and gain exposure to alternative investments in an international and collaborative environment.

Working closely with experienced professionals, you will be involved in a variety of fund administration and controlling activities, with a key focus on reviewing capital calls and distributions.

• Assist Fund Controllers in reviewing and processing capital calls and distributions.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with fund documents and investor agreements.
• Support the computation and review of management fees.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records and documentation for all capital call and distribution activities.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements and investor reports.
• Participate in reviewing and improving internal processes and controls related to fund administration.
• Respond to inquiries from investors and internal stakeholders regarding capital calls and distributions.
• Assist in the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of fund administration experience in a Luxembourg service provider.
• Experience dealing with real estate funds or private debt funds mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluent in English and other languages is an asset.
