We are currently supporting a well-established investment platform in Luxembourg in the context of its continued growth. Acting as a key partner to leading global asset managers, the structure is involved in the management of complex real estate and private market investments across multiple jurisdictions.
They are now looking to hire a Real Estate Controller, who will take ownership of a portfolio of entities and play a central role across financial, transactional, and governance matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Luxembourg-based entities involved in real estate investments
- Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and cash flow management
- Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and compliance with local regulations (Lux GAAP, tax filings, etc.)
- Monitor fund flows and coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Actively participate in investment transactions and support deal execution through to closing
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, legal teams, and other service providers
- Contribute to board meetings, including preparation of materials and presentation of key financial information
- Support corporate governance matters and ensure proper documentation and compliance
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4 to 8 years of experience in the funds industry, audit, or a service provider in Luxembourg
- Strong exposure to real estate structures and related entities
- Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP and accounting principles
- Understanding of tax concepts (CIT, VAT)
- Comfortable working on transactions and liaising with multiple stakeholders
- Fluent in English; French and/or German would be an advantage
- Organised, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
