Lead Enterprise Architect (m/f)
Morgan Philips Luxembourg is supporting a major Luxembourg-based organisation operating critical infrastructure in the search for its future Lead Enterprise Architect.
Our client plays a strategic role in the country's development and transformation. Combining long-term vision, operational excellence and technological innovation, the organisation is currently undertaking significant initiatives to modernise and consolidate its IT landscape in support of evolving business and societal needs.
Your responsibilities
As Lead Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in defining and shaping the future of the organisation's IT ecosystem.
You will:
- Define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy, frameworks, principles and standards;
- Design and maintain reference architectures that support current and future business needs;
- Ensure the coherence, scalability, security and sustainability of the IT landscape;
- Promote the reuse of architecture patterns while optimising the total cost of ownership;
- Establish standards and tools for documenting architecture artefacts and processes;
- Facilitate architectural decision-making across projects and stakeholders;
- Review and approve solution architectures to ensure compliance with defined standards and security requirements;
- Contribute to data, integration and technology governance;
- Conduct architecture reviews before and after implementation to identify gaps and remediation actions;
- Monitor technology and business trends to ensure that the architecture remains fit for purpose;
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and support the development of architecture capabilities across the organisation.
Your profile
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Architect, Enterprise Architect or equivalent design authority role;
- Proven experience in defining enterprise-wide architecture standards and governance;
- Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF;
- Solid understanding of process, data and systems modelling practices;
- Good knowledge of database, integration and storage technologies, as well as associated security standards;
- Proven exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle and a variety of project methodologies;
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all organisational levels;
- Fluency in English and French. Knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an asset.
