An international investment management company is currently strengthening its Luxembourg finance team and is looking to recruit a Senior Fund Controller to oversee a diversified portfolio of regulated and unregulated investment structures.
Working alongside senior leadership, this role offers broad exposure across financial oversight, fund operations, governance and strategic initiatives linked to the development of new investment platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
Financial Monitoring & Reporting
- Manage the financial supervision of several Luxembourg investment entities across different asset classes
- Review periodic reporting packages, NAV calculations and financial deliverables produced by third-party administrators
- Oversee the preparation of annual accounts and coordinate audit processes with external firms
- Monitor cash positions, investor transactions and overall financial performance of the structures
- Ensure reliability and consistency of accounting and reporting information
- Participate in the enhancement of reporting tools, internal procedures and control frameworks
- Support accounting and reporting topics under Lux GAAP, with additional exposure to IFRS or US GAAP considered beneficial
- Oversee operational flows related to investor activity, including drawdowns, distributions and fee calculations
- Assist with the implementation and setup of newly created investment vehicles
- Prepare presentations and analysis for boards, investment committees and internal management reviews
- Act as a central contact point between internal departments and external partners such as administrators, auditors, banks and legal advisors
- Work closely with Compliance, Risk and Legal teams to ensure proper governance and operational efficiency
- Contribute to cross-functional projects linked to process optimisation and business expansion initiatives
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or similar would be considered an advantage
- Between 10 and 15 years of professional experience acquired within asset management, private equity, real estate or alternative investment environments
- Strong expertise in fund control, financial reporting and Luxembourg investment structures
- Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP; exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP would be considered an asset
- Proven ability to manage complex structures and interact with senior stakeholders in an international setting
- Autonomous, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication, coordination and analytical skills
- Fluent in English; any additional language would be considered a plus
