On behalf of our client, a luxury international hotel group, we are looking for an experienced Director of Food & Beverage.
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing all culinary and service operations across the hotel’s three restaurants, two bars, and 24-hour in-room dining service. This role ensures the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction consistent with a luxury 5-star environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality excellence, innovation, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the overall F&B strategy aligned with the hotel’s brand and positioning
- Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team including chefs, restaurant managers, bar managers, and in-room dining teams
- Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Executive Chef and other departments to create unique, memorable guest experiences
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of three restaurants, two bars, and a 24/7 in-room dining service, ensuring seamless service and exceptional quality
- Maintain and enforce luxury service standards and hygiene regulations
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements proactively
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and licensing regulations
Financial Performance
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans across all outlets
- Drive revenue growth through innovative concepts, promotions, and upselling strategies
- Control costs, optimize labor, and maximize profitability without compromising quality
- Analyze financial reports and KPIs to inform strategic decisions
Guest Experience
- Ensure personalized, anticipatory service that exceeds guest expectations across all outlets and in-room dining
- Handle VIP guests, special requests, and service recovery situations with professionalism
- Continuously enhance the dining experience through creativity and attention to detail
People Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing F&B team across multiple outlets
- Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning
- Promote employee engagement and retention through strong leadership
Brand & Innovation
- Develop innovative dining concepts and seasonal offerings for each restaurant and bar
- Stay current with global F&B trends, luxury hospitality standards, and competitor benchmarks
- Collaborate with marketing on promotions, events, and brand positioning
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of F&B leadership experience in luxury hotels or high-end establishments
- Proven track record managing multi-outlet operations including restaurants, bars, and 24-hour in-room dining
- Strong financial acumen and business management skills
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
