Maintenance Supply Chain Specialist - Temporary

At Morgan Philips Outsourcing we are searching for a Maintenance Supply Chain Specialist for one of our clients, one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines based in Barcelona, to ensure the availability of aircraft parts, components, and materials required for maintenance activities by managing procurement processes, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and aligning material supply with operational requirements to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted airline operations.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Source and procure aircraft parts and materials to meet operational and maintenance needs.
• Manage supplier relationships, including vendor onboarding, commercial and technical clarifications, order follow-up, invoice management, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Repairs, Logistics, and other internal stakeholders to prioritize requirements and avoid duplicate orders.
• Ensure timely material availability in line with maintenance planning requirements while optimizing inventory levels.
• Monitor and drive cost-saving opportunities through effective supplier and repair management..
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of contractual frameworks and supplier support programs.

Requirements
Academic background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Aeronautical Engineering), Business Administration, Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Fluent English and Spanish (C1 level).

Experience

• Experience in procurement, materials management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience managing suppliers, purchase orders, and material availability in operational environments.
• Previous exposure to aviation, MRO, aircraft parts procurement, or OEM contracts is highly valued.
• Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of AMOS is a strong plus.
