- Taking ownership of TUPE transfers, including due diligence, consultation, risk mitigation, and post-transfer integration
- Supporting and leading organisational change programmes, including restructures and redundancies
- Providing clear, legally sound and commercially pragmatic advice, particularly in high-risk or ambiguous situations
- Coaching leaders on people management, performance issues, and navigating challenging scenarios
- Driving improvements in HR processes, controls, and consistency across the business
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and minimising legal and financial risk
About You
- Proven experience as a HR Business Partner within construction, engineering, infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, or similarly operational environments
- Extensive experience managing complex ER casework independently, with clear ownership of decisions and outcomes
- Strong, demonstrable experience of TUPE transfers, with the ability to clearly articulate your role, responsibilities, and impact
- Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law, with the confidence to apply it in practice and advise on risk
- Comfortable managing high volumes of ER cases, including sensitive and high-risk situations
- Able to demonstrate:
- Your role vs others in complex cases
- Your decision-making process
- Your approach to balancing legal risk with commercial outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders
- Highly resilient, pragmatic, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience leading or heavily contributing to multiple TUPE projects in live operational environments
- A track record of navigating overlapping risk scenarios
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance legal compliance with operational realities
- Experience improving HR processes or driving change in complex organisations
Why Apply?
- High-impact role with significant autonomy and influence
- Exposure to complex, business-critical HR challenges
- Opportunity to work closely with senior operational leadership
