The Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Supply Chain Management Manager to strengthen and elevate our distribution planning capability. This role will focus on enhancing planning processes, optimizing inventory strategy, and building a more agile and structured planning environment within a global manufacturing organization.

The ideal candidate brings solid ERP-based planning experience, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures. This position offers high visibility, meaningful business impact, and the opportunity to contribute within a fast-growing, technology-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong expertise in supply planning and/or purchasing functions.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of key initiatives.

  • Act as a change leader, motivating teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Plan, organize, and oversee execution of critical operational tasks and projects.

  • Provide consistent progress updates to management and proactively address risks on critical timelines.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to build process documentation, workflow mapping, and standard operating procedures.

  • Improve distribution network processes to ensure clear demand signals and appropriate service levels across factories and distribution centers.

  • Support inventory optimization initiatives, including safety stock strategy and overall inventory health.

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to prevent and resolve potential stock-out risks.

  • Coordinate and negotiate supply commitments aligned with distribution and stocking requirements.

  • Partner with logistics teams and third-party providers to maintain appropriate shipment schedules and inventory positioning.

  • Manage intercompany transactions while ensuring compliance with internal control standards.

  • Develop performance metrics (leading and lagging indicators), conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective action plans.

  • Drive operational excellence by improving processes and clarifying responsibilities.

  • Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, structured development, and performance management.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance agility and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in factory supply planning within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • Proven leadership in transformation or process improvement initiatives within complex or international supply chains.

  • Experience operating in fast-paced, evolving business environments.

  • Strong team orientation with a results-driven mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.

  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional leadership and change management.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Microsoft Office, and analytical tools/databases.

  • Willingness to travel as required to support operational needs.

Success Metrics

  • Effective execution and leadership of site-level supply planning operations.

  • Establishment and standardization of process flows and SOPs.

  • Achievement of monthly inventory targets and annual cycle count accuracy.

  • Measurable improvement in excess and obsolete inventory performance.
