Sr Mos Development Engineer

About the Job: Reporting to the MOSFET Development Manager, you will drive process integration, development, and optimization as our Senior MOS Development Engineer.

• Device & Technology Development: Collaborate with product designers to conceive innovative device structures and develop advanced MOSFET technologies.

• Prototyping & Validation: Partner closely with internal process experts and external foundry partners to establish required manufacturing technologies, produce prototypes, and coordinate with test labs to correlate empirical results with simulations and expected performance.

• Experimentation & Optimization: Design robust experimental matrices to evaluate and optimize device design against target specifications.

• Design Rules & Parametric Specs: Co-work with fab engineering teams to establish the final design rule menu and electrical parametric specifications.

• Foundry Evaluation: Participate in fab selection and evaluation processes for prospective manufacturing locations.

• Reverse Engineering Analysis: Support Design and Product Engineers with reverse engineering and structural analysis when needed.

• Internal Technical Expertise: Serve as the resident subject matter expert on semiconductor devices and processes, advising design teams on emerging technologies.

• Travel: Undertake short-term business travel for training and fab collaboration as needed.

About You:

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in power MOSFET design and process integration.

• Demonstrated experience with both conventional Bipolar and DMOS manufacturing processes.

• Direct, first-hand knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and device layout principles.

• Proficiency in TCAD simulation tools, device characterization/testing, and semiconductor packaging is a strong plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to drive initiatives independently within a collaborative, cross-cultural environment.

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
