The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven experience delivering Lean/Six Sigma or similar improvement programmes, and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, supply chain, engineering, and HR).

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement Strategy:
Develop and execute a CI roadmap aligned with business priorities in Korea, including measurable targets for productivity, quality, and cost.

  • Lean / Six Sigma Deployment:
Lead and coach Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, RCA, DMAIC) to drive sustainable improvements.

  • Operational Performance Improvement:
Identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities using data (KPI review, root cause analysis, process mapping), and drive corrective actions.

  • Quality & Waste Reduction:
Support initiatives to reduce defects, rework, scrap, and variability; promote standard work and robust problem-solving.

  • Project Leadership & Governance:
Manage improvement projects end-to-end—define scope, secure resources, set timelines, track progress, and ensure results are reported and sustained.

  • Standardization & Training:
Establish CI tools/templates and ensure teams are trained in continuous improvement practices; build CI capability across the site.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functions to align initiatives and remove blockers.

  • Change Management & Culture:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and accountability; recognize performance and successes.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
Typically 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations excellence, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent roles, including people/process leadership responsibilities.

  • Methodology Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt/Black Belt preferred, or equivalent training).

  • Manufacturing/Operations Background:
Experience improving production or operational performance in a regulated or quality-focused environment is preferred.

  • Data & Problem-Solving Skills:
Proficiency in root cause analysis and using KPIs/metrics to drive decisions; ability to structure problems and lead effective interventions.

  • Leadership & Communication:
Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills; clear communication in English (Korean language capability is a strong advantage).

  • Project Management:
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balance priorities, and deliver measurable results.
