Head of Operations (Luxury DTC Brand)
The brand is a rapidly-growing pioneer in luxury footwear and accessories that sell DTC and via distributors in the USA and Europe
This is the first hire supporting the founders to build the operating engine of a brand scaling across Europe and the USA. Operations have been held together by founders and grit — now we need someone to turn that momentum into something durable. This isn't about maintaining the status quo. It's a rare chance to design an operating model from the ground up, then roll up your sleeves and make it real — working directly with the founders, with genuine authority over how operations are built.
What you'll own
-
Wholesale and D2C operations across Europe and the USA
-
The order-to-cash flow — from order acceptance through fulfilment, invoicing and payment exceptions
-
Inventory accuracy, inbound/outbound logistics, freight, claims and 3PL performance
-
Coordination across Sales, Finance, Product, factories, warehouses and logistics partners
-
Operational systems and data quality (Centra, Shopify, EDI)
-
Procedures, service levels, controls and escalation paths
-
Serious incidents, driven to root cause and closure
-
Your own team, built and sized to volume
What we're looking for
-
Proven ownership of multi-market operations in footwear, fashion, consumer goods or similar
-
Deep knowledge of inventory, wholesale and ecommerce operations
-
Hands-on experience managing 3PLs, freight partners and systems
-
A track record of simplifying — fewer exceptions, not more software
-
The range to move between strategy and detailed execution
-
Fluent professional English; another European language a plus
-
Based within European business hours, with travel to the USA
What we offer
-
Remote working model within Europe or Asia
-
Direct access to founders and real decision-making authority
-
The chance to design our operating model — not inherit one
-
Scope and team that grow with the business
-
International environmentenvironment and a global supply network
If you've been waiting to build something rather than manage it — this is it.
