Job Title: Key Account Executive – Biologics

Location: Hong Kong

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Executive – Biologics to manage and grow performance across assigned biopharmaceutical/biologics accounts in Hong Kong. This role focuses on delivering business results by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, executing account strategies, and coordinating closely with internal cross-functional teams to support patient access and product growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical sales, demonstrated capability in key account management, and a sound understanding of biologics-related market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Strategy & Business Growth:
    Develop and execute business plans for assigned key accounts to achieve sales targets, share growth, and portfolio expansion.

  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across hospitals, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders (as applicable), ensuring a high level of engagement and credibility.

  • Commercial Execution:
    Plan and conduct account meetings, identify opportunities, manage business priorities, and ensure effective execution of promotions and business initiatives in line with company strategy.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Medical, Market Access, Marketing, Regulatory/Access support, Supply, and other functions as applicable) to ensure alignment on customer needs, evidence, and operational readiness.

  • Tender / Formulary / Access Support:
    Support tender submissions and access activities by providing relevant commercial input, performance insights, and stakeholder engagement to drive successful outcomes.

  • Market & Competitive Insights:
    Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, prescribing/referral patterns (where applicable), and customer feedback; translate insights into practical action plans.

  • Forecasting & Reporting:
    Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline/opportunity tracking, and reporting, ensuring transparency and timely updates.

  • Compliance & Ethical Standards:
    Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, internal policies, and ethical guidelines for pharmaceutical marketing and sales in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    Typically 3–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales, with exposure to biologics and/or hospital/structured key account environments (experience level may be adjusted based on candidate profile).

  • Account Management:
    Proven track record managing key accounts and delivering measurable business results in a regulated healthcare environment.

  • Healthcare Commercial Knowledge:
    Understanding of hospital buying processes, access pathways, and account decision-making dynamics in Hong Kong is preferred.

  • Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a strong advantage).

  • Analytical & Planning Abilities:
    Ability to analyse performance data, identify opportunities, and build practical account strategies with strong attention to detail.

  • Compliance Mindset:
    Demonstrated commitment to ethical behaviour, transparency, and adherence to compliance requirements.
