Sales Executive – Industrial Chains📍 Mexico | Remote | National Travel

Are you passionate about technical sales and developing strategic relationships within Mexico's heavy industrial sector?

We are partnering with a global manufacturer of premium industrial chains and engineered power transmission solutions, to identify a great Sales Executive who will lead business development across Mexico, serving some of the country's largest cement, mining, steel, and fertilizer companies.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international organization and play a key role in expanding its presence within one of the most demanding industrial markets.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing industrial customers. You will work directly with maintenance, engineering, procurement, and plant leadership teams, promoting highly engineered industrial chain solutions used in critical material handling applications.

This is a consultative, field-based sales position requiring frequent customer visits, technical discussions, and the ability to identify replacement opportunities where you can deliver superior performance and value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within the cement, mining, steel, and fertilizer industries.
  • Manage and grow strategic industrial accounts throughout Mexico.
  • Promote industrial chains, conveyor chains, bucket elevator chains, and related mechanical components.
  • Identify competitor-installed products and execute conversion and replacement strategies.
  • Conduct plant visits, equipment inspections, and technical meetings with customers.
  • Build strong relationships with Maintenance Managers, Procurement teams, Reliability Engineers, and Plant Managers.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to provide customized technical solutions and reverse engineering support.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close new business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements.
  • Achieve sales targets while expanding market share.
  • Travel approximately 40–50% across Mexico to support customer development.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of successful B2B industrial sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling mechanical wear parts, industrial components, power transmission products, or material handling equipment.
  • Strong exposure to the cement and/or mining industries is essential.
  • Experience conducting technical sales presentations and plant-level meetings.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Mexico.
