About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead regulatory strategy and compliance activities for consumer health, food, nutraceutical, and cosmetic products across multiple markets. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet applicable regulations, supporting successful market entry, and partnering with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Strategy & Compliance

• Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements in relevant global markets.
• Ensure products and business activities comply with applicable laws, standards, and industry guidelines.
• Advise internal teams on regulatory implications of new requirements and market changes.

Market Authorization & Regulatory Submissions

• Direct regulatory submission activities for both new product launches and existing product portfolios.
• Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals and regulatory clearances.
• Maintain accurate and compliant regulatory documentation.

Product Claims, Labeling & Marketing Review

• Evaluate product labels, promotional content, and supporting materials to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to support compliant product communications.
• Provide guidance on ingredient, packaging, and claim-related requirements.

Regulatory Risk Management

• Assess the potential business impact of evolving regulations and compliance risks.
• Develop practical solutions and mitigation plans to address regulatory challenges.
• Support leadership in making informed decisions regarding regulatory exposure and business continuity.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner with teams across Research & Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
• Contribute regulatory expertise throughout product development, launch planning, and lifecycle management.
• Promote regulatory awareness across the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted regulatory advisor for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with regulatory authorities and industry contacts.
• Continuously enhance regulatory knowledge and share insights with the broader organization.

Leadership & Team Support

• Provide guidance, coaching, and day-to-day support to regulatory team members.
• Assist with team planning, workload management, and capability development.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance working environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within one or more of the following industries:
  • Nutraceuticals
  • Food and Beverage
  • Cosmetics
  • Pharmaceuticals
• Previous experience leading projects, mentoring colleagues, or supervising team members is preferred.
• Exposure to multinational business environments and regional or global regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for imported and locally marketed products.
• Experience preparing and managing regulatory submissions and approvals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across functions.
