Industry and Manufacturing
The Production Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture within the production environment.
- Maintain zero EHS incidents and drive continuous improvement across all safety and EHS matters.
- Ensure EHS risks are properly identified, evaluated, and corrected.
- Conduct safety assessments and implement appropriate safety measures.
- Investigate and report accidents or safety-related incidents.
Quality and Compliance
The Production Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Promote a culture and expectation of zero quality defects.
- Ensure all production-related quality issues are properly identified, evaluated, and corrected.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet specified standards.
Production Optimization
The Production Engineer works closely with Process Engineering and other production teams to:
- Ensure all team members prioritize safety and quality in accordance with company principles.
- Plan and schedule plant startup and annual shutdown activities.
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance production output.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to reduce production costs without compromising quality.
- Implement cost-effective measures and monitor budget adherence.
Troubleshooting
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address technical challenges.
