Head of Sales & Marketing (Northern Region)
Morgan Philips is exclusively partnered with a leading organization in the Malaysian property development space seeking a commercially driven Head of Sales & Marketing to lead its Northern Region portfolio. The organisation is known for delivering thoughtfully designed, high-quality residential and mixed-use developments that balance practicality, aesthetics, and affordability.
The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing regional sales and marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, and strengthening market presence across key Northern markets. You will play a pivotal role in positioning developments competitively while ensuring strong sell-through performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall sales and marketing strategy for Northern Region projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Drive project launches, campaigns, and promotional initiatives to achieve sales targets
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market expansion and product positioning
- Conduct market intelligence and feasibility analysis to support development and go-to-market decisions
- Manage, coach, and grow a high-performing sales & marketing team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property agencies, financial institutions, and key partners
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive activity
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 8–10 years’ experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within property development or real estate
- Proven success in selling residential and/or commercial developments (landed and high-rise)
- Strong track record in sales strategy, project launches, and revenue delivery
- Established network with agents, agencies, banks, and marketing partners
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing and scaling teams
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
