Morgan Philips Group has partnered with a global pharmaceutical leader dedicated to improving patient outcomes through a diverse and innovative portfolio. We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Manager to lead the commercial execution and sales performance for a strategic business unit specializing in Primary Care. Based in Johor Bahru, you will be responsible for driving market share growth, managing a high-performing sales team, and navigating the local healthcare ecosystem to establish long-term partnerships with key medical stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Portfolio Execution: Drive the promotion and execution of brand strategies for the Primary Care portfolios, ensuring all activities align with regional marketing and medical objectives.
- Performance & Business Growth: Take full accountability for achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs within the assigned territory by developing robust business plans and identifying untapped growth opportunities in hospitals and clinics.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team through regular field coaching and performance reviews to foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Stakeholder & Key Account Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key HCPs, and key decision-makers to ensure high-quality scientific detailing and successful hospital partnerships.
- Market Intelligence & Insight: Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the sectors, providing actionable feedback to internal teams to support accurate forecasting and strategic planning.
- Governance & Ethical Promotion: Ensure all regional sales activities strictly adhere to industry codes of conduct, pharmacovigilance standards, and internal company SOPs.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medicine is required; an MBA or advanced business degree is strongly recommended.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in a leadership or people management role.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record in the Primary Care therapeutic areas is a significant advantage, alongside deep familiarity with the Johor healthcare market.
- Commercial & Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to analyze complex market situations, anticipate business risks, and articulate differentiated value propositions to sophisticated customers.
