About the Opportunity
We are building a next-generation AI vision platform that transforms how manufacturing quality is done—directly on the production line.
Our edge-enabled camera systems combine deep learning with real-time processing to handle complex inspection tasks such as defect detection, assembly verification, and orientation analysis. Deployed globally across high-volume manufacturing environments, these systems must operate with extreme reliability, low latency, and production-grade robustness—because when they fail, production stops.
This is an opportunity to take technical ownership of quality at the system level, across hardware, embedded software, and AI inference pipelines.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior SDET to define and build the quality architecture for embedded AI devices powered by NVIDIA Jetson and similar edge platforms.
This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role where you will design and scale automated testing systems that validate performance, stability, and accuracy across real-world conditions.
You will operate at the intersection of:
hardware × embedded Linux × edge AI × distributed systems
What You’ll Do
End-to-End System Validation
Design fully automated E2E test workflows that simulate real-world factory inputs (e.g., synthetic video streams), trigger on-device AI inference, and validate outputs across system layers.
Automation Framework Ownership
Architect and build scalable test frameworks from scratch using Python, targeting embedded Linux and edge AI environments.
Web & API Testing
Develop automated test suites for web interfaces and APIs used to configure, monitor, and control deployed systems.
Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing
Design and scale HIL environments to replicate factory conditions—validating system behavior under compute, memory, and thermal constraints.
Deep System Debugging
Diagnose complex issues across the full stack:
custom hardware, Linux kernel, networking (TCP/IP, RTSP), containerized applications, and front-end layers.
What You Bring
Strong Technical Ownership
4+ years as SDET, Embedded Test Engineer, or Software Engineer, with proven ownership of complex systems at scale.
Embedded & Edge Expertise
Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded Linux platforms.
Python Mastery
Expert in building automation frameworks, device interaction tooling, and CI/CD integrations.
Full-Stack Testing Capability
Experience testing web applications and APIs using modern frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
System-Level Thinking
Deep experience testing AIoT devices, embedded systems, and network protocols in real-world environments.
Builder Mindset
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving hard problems independently, and driving solutions end-to-end.
Nice to Have
Experience with computer vision systems, OpenCV, or real-time video pipelines
Background in industrial automation or industrial protocols (PLC, EtherNet/IP, Modbus)
