We are supporting a leading global mixed-signal technology company to hire a Haptics Tuning Engineer to join their high-performance engineering team. This role is critical for driving design wins in laptops, mobile devices, and next-generation consumer electronics platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive design wins and manage key customer engagements by tuning end products, developing customized demos, and quantifying haptic performance

  • Provide technical support to customers and field application teams, including hands-on debugging and issue resolution

  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (applications, firmware, software, and marketing) to support product development and customer requests

  • Define, implement, and validate new tools and firmware features with software and applications teams

  • Develop promotional demos for new product launches and features

  • Support customer visits, industry events, and technical trainings

  • Independently manage priorities with strong ownership and execution mindset


Required Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with 3+ years of industry experience

  • Strong hands-on experience in algorithm tuning and performance optimization

  • Solid understanding of physics fundamentals (force, velocity, acceleration)

  • Knowledge of transducer modeling

  • Experience with lab instruments (oscilloscope, signal generator, Audio Precision, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer)

  • Understanding of DSP algorithms and techniques

  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English

  • Proven experience troubleshooting customer technical issues

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills


Preferred Background

  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and customers

  • Familiarity with PC and mobile platform requirements

  • Passion for haptics and immersive technology

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
