MAKING SUCCESS STORIES HAPPEN

We are seeking a visionary Hardware Systems Lead/Director to spearhead the development of our next-generation embedded computing platforms. This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for driving complex products from initial concept through to high-volume production, bridging the gap between innovative silicon and robust system-level solutions.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

  • Product Lifecycle Ownership: Drive the entire hardware product trajectory, from conceptual architecture and specification to mass production and market readiness.

  • System Design Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design of sophisticated embedded computing systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Team Management: Direct and mentor a high-caliber team of senior engineers and external contractors, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

  • Architecture & Specification: Create comprehensive hardware specifications and develop rigorous test plans to ensure product integrity.

  • Hands-on Design & Review: Work closely with the team on complex schematics (OrCAD) and collaborate with Layout, Mechanical, and Signal Integrity (SI) engineers to deliver optimized designs.

  • Lab Bring-up & Validation: Lead system bring-up activities and execute detailed engineering validation (EVT/DVT) within a laboratory environment.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison for internal cross-functional teams, driving critical technical discussions and resolving complex architectural challenges.

  • Manufacturing Excellence: Establish and refine processes for at-scale manufacturing, ensuring the highest standards of quality and yield optimization.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in hardware engineering, with a proven track record in a leadership or directorial capacity.

  • Technical Mastery:

    • Extensive hands-on board design knowledge for high-complexity systems.

    • Expert-level proficiency in Cadence OrCAD and Allegro.

    • Deep understanding of standard interfaces (I2C, SMBus, SPI, UART, USB) and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Display, and Network).

  • Domain Expertise: Thorough knowledge of CPU architectures and their associated subsystems.

  • Validation & Debug: Advanced experience in lab bring-up, design validation, and complex system debugging with strong analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to articulate technical strategies to both executive leadership and engineering teams.

  • Technical Versatility: Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting languages for automation or testing is highly preferred.
