Lead System Engineer | Mechatronics / Sensing Systems

In this role, you will be a key contributor within a Mechatronics team, leading the end-to-end development of sensing systems—from early concept and innovation through mass production—shaping products used by millions worldwide.
What You’ll Do

Lead the development of innovative sensing technologies and products, bringing ideas from concept to reality

Evaluate sensing architectures, components, and concepts with a balanced view of performance, user experience, risk, and manufacturability

Design, build, and validate prototypes through hands-on experimentation

Develop complete sensing systems, including hardware, firmware, and algorithms, from early exploration to mass production

Deliver solutions that meet cost, schedule, experience, and sustainability goals

Create measurement tools and test setups to characterize and validate sensing performance

Lead and actively participate in Design Reviews, FMEA, EVT, and qualification testing

Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across multiple global sites and disciplines
What You Bring

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics

9+ years of experience developing consumer electronics products

Strong expertise in analog sensing system design

Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M MCUs and peripheral interfaces (ADC, DMA, SPI, I2C, UART)

Proficiency in C/C++, with working knowledge of Python

Proven experience delivering full-system solutions into mass production

Excellent communication skills with high English fluency

A self-driven, collaborative mindset and comfort working in multicultural, global teams

Willingness to travel as needed
