Overall Review:
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Senior Product Specialist & Key Account Manager to bridge the gap between product excellence and business development. In this hybrid role, you will serve as the primary face of our brand to our most important retail and clinical partners.
You will be responsible for driving sales growth within key accounts while acting as the ultimate product expert. You will educate partners, train their staff, and ensure our brand story is told accurately and compellingly at every touchpoint. Success in this role requires a unique blend of strategic account management, sales acumen, and in-depth skincare science knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management & Business Development

Build and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with a portfolio of key accounts.

Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) for top-tier accounts to achieve sales targets, market share goals, and profitability objectives.

Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospect for new high-potential partners.

Negotiate contracts, trade terms, and promotional agreements.
2. Product Expertise & Scientific Communication

Serve as the go-to expert on the company’s product portfolio, including ingredients, formulations, clinical data, and indications.

Translate complex scientific concepts into simple, compelling benefits for retailers, clinicians, and end consumers.

Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging ingredients in the skincare market.
3. Marketing Activation & Merchandising

Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor in-store and online campaigns for key accounts.

Ensure brand guidelines are maintained regarding visual merchandising, stock displays, and collateral placement.

Gather feedback from the field regarding product performance and consumer sentiment to inform R&D and marketing strategies.
4. Reporting & Analysis

Track sales performance, sell-through rates, and stock levels for key accounts.

Provide regular reports and forecasts to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and market intelligence.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Certification in Cosmetology or Advanced Dermatology is a strong advantage.
Experience:

2~5 years of experience in a similar role within the skincare, cosmetics, or aesthetics industry.

Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts (retail, clinic, or pharmacy channels).
Skills & Competencies:

Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to spot revenue opportunities.

Scientific Literacy: Comfortable discussing ingredients like retinols, peptides, AHAs, and growth factors, as well as understanding clinical trial data.

Organization: Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage a complex schedule and diverse portfolio.
